All About Lips #102

Illamasqua Intense Lipgloss - Move & Belladona
Illamasqua Intense Lipgloss - Move & Belladona

As part of my big haul, I picked up these two lip glosses because they looked promising and everything was on some sort of discount.

First off, these actually have brush applicators rather than a sponge-tip which I have personally become used to and prefer. However, I do not mind these, but it is something to take note of because it does affect application.

Here are the swatches on my arm, and as you can see the colours are pretty intense! You do get quite a lot of product on the brush so go easy.

First up, I am sporting the Illamasqua Intense Lipgloss in Move. This is described as Deep Purple on the illamasqua site but I would say that this is more of a mid tone pink. There are swatches on the site as well which are quite useful.

Not quite a "My Lips But Better" shade, this is still very wearable and when it wears off is not too obvious.

This is described as Deep Pink on the site and I feel like it is a deep blue-toned pink. It is very beautiful and I can see myself wearing this a lot when I want more of statement.

The lip glosses are very comfortable and they are described as liquid lipsticks. The wear time is not as long as a matte lipstick, but you get really strong pigmentation at one swipe and it wears off when you eat and drink but last longer than a satin/regular lipstick.

In a nutshell, I would recommend these if you find a colour you like and don't mind the applicator style.

Have you tried any illamasqua lip products?
